The Role:

As the Estimator, you'll be pivotal in shaping the financial and logistical roadmap of each project. Your insights will ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project drawings, plans, and specifications to produce detailed, accurate cost estimates.
  • Scope materials, labor, subcontracting, plant, and other cost components.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models, databases, and cost summaries.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to verify assumptions and pricing.
  • Support tendering processes and respond to client queries during bidding.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and flag any potential risks early.
  • Monitor and update estimates based on changes to scope, design, or client inputs.

About You:

  • Proven Estimator experience in construction—ideally across commercial.
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and project delivery.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mind and ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • A solid grasp of OHS practices and environmental considerations.
