About the Role
Play a critical role in testing and validating new consumer electrical products to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability. From early prototypes through to final production, you will conduct rigorous testing processes, oversee certification, and work with international suppliers to guarantee every product is safe, durable, and ready for market. Your work will directly protect consumers while upholding the company's reputation for innovation and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development - Lead the end-to-end process from concept through to launch.
 - Compliance & Testing - Oversee compliance, certification, and testing processes to meet Australian and IEC standards.
 - Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with international factories, suppliers, and regulators to deliver quality products.
 - Technical Support - Provide expertise to customer service, artwork, and product documentation teams.
 - Industry Knowledge - Maintain up-to-date understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory frameworks.
 
About You
- Experience - Qualifications or work experience in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering
 - Highly Desirable - Electrical Safety & EMC Compliance exposure and understanding
 - Regulatory Knowledge - Strong understanding of compliance and certification processes.
 - Communication Skills - Clear, confident, and effective in both technical and stakeholder discussions.
 - Problem-Solving - Ability to analyse complex challenges and deliver practical solutions.
 - Personal Attributes - Detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
