  • Facilitate innovation workshops to generate new product ideas and prototypes
  • Conduct ingredient sourcing, recipe development and sensory analysis to optimise product offerings
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation based on market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis

Compliance:

  • Ensure all products in your category meet national and international regulatory standards, including ingredient verification, labelling compliance and safety testing
  • Oversee the accuracy of labelling, ingredient verification and record keeping for compliance with food safety laws
  • Stay informed on industry regulations and adapt category practices accordingly

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage product development projects within your category, ensuring timely and successful completion of deliverables
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, from project planning to post launch evaluation
  • Address and resolve issues that arise during product development or project execution

Education & Training:

  • Develop and facilitate training for internal and external stakeholders on new products, compliance changes, or category developments
  • Lead employee onboarding and external distributor training for your product category
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure accurate and compelling product information is communicated in marketing materials
