About the Role

We are seeking a Test Rig Operator & Compliance Officer to join our team. This is a newly created role reporting to the Technical Product Manager, offering an exciting opportunity to work across testing, compliance, R&D, product development, and fabrication.

As a NATA Test Rig Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and compliance of our products. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating test rigs, conducting performance tests on windows and doors, security windows and doors, pool fencing & balustrade products, and supporting product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup & Operation: Prepare and operate test rigs according to established procedures.
  • Testing: Conduct functional and performance tests on window and door systems.
  • Data & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report on test results with accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with test rigs or products.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on test equipment.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with R&D and factory teams on product development and prototyping.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain test equipment.
  • Hands-on skills in fabrication and prototyping using power tools and punching machines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting.
  • Safety-conscious and team-oriented.

Previous experience in testing or manufacturing is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
