The Australian International Sports Organisation Pty Ltd (AUSISO) founded in 2018 is a business in the sports industry and our mission is to drive organisations to achieve their objectives through sport. We are pioneering sport for social change, working with education providers, government, health providers and sport organisations (Clubs/Associations, State and National Sporting Organisations).

We are offering a unique entry level job opportunity in the sport industry to join our growing and dynamic team as the 'Sports Administrator', working directly in our 'Program Delivery' strategic pillar.

This is a full-time role and given the nature of the sport industry, involves being available on call in the afternoon/early evenings during the week and on the occasional weekend (mornings). The role also involves being able to attend the AUSISO office in Blacktown International Sports Park (NSW).

Position Duties:


• Staff all programs/shifts across Australia via the scheduling system, as well as communicate with Casual Sport Program Officers regarding their availability and schedule (WhatsApp or other agreed upon forums).


• Input all program data into the scheduling system within 24hours of program details being confirmed.


• Recruit Casual Sport Program Officers (review and shortlist applicants, schedule interviews, interview candidates, reference checks, inform candidates if successful or not, onboard [paperwork, verify WWCC (or state equivalent) and set up on AUSISO systems] and offboard).


• Manage the AUSISO Travel Policy by updating the required travel each shift in the scheduling system.


• Manage intern requirements (schedule interviews, interview candidates, complete required paperwork and provide updates to AUSISO Directors).


• Assist with the postage of staff uniform to Casual Sport Program Officers interstate (currently VIC, QLD and ACT).


• Collation of survey data and development of program reports.


• Where required, plan and deliver high quality sporting programs in consultation with the AUSISO HQ team.


• Assist with the development of AUSISO's program delivery guides across all sports.


• Assist with session plans for each program, where applicable in consultation with the AUSISO Participation Officer.


• Assist with general administrative tasks where required.


• Engage professionally with external staff, external organisations and internal staff.


• Ensure a positive brand image of AUSISO when engaged in employment.

Role Requirements


• This role is a full-time role (38 hours) per week, paid weekly. Given the nature of the sport industry, involves being available on call in the afternoon/early evenings during the week and on the occasional weekend.


• The role also involves being able to attend the AUSISO office in Blacktown International Sports Park (NSW).


• Energy and passion to plan and deliver AUSISO sporting programs.


• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.


• Think efficiently and creatively to maximise effective management of staff, gear, uniform and program logistics.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Willingness to grow the programs, generate new ideas to increase programs and ensure Casual Sport Program Officers have the required items for the role.


• Ability to work within a team and autonomously.


• Enthusiastic and excited to help shape the growth of an emerging business in the sport industry.


• Current and valid Paid Working with Children Check.


• Current and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.


• Current and valid Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle (is required for this role).


• Coaching accreditation from a State or National Sporting Organisation (is desirable, but not essential).
