The Kids Oncology and Leukaemia Trials (KOALA) team is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of something bigger - advance childhood cancer care through world-class clinical research

Contribute your skillset and passion to the national/international coordination of precision medicine and early phase clinical trials for childhood cancer as a Clinical Trial Assistant.

We will be moving to the Minderoo Comprehensive Cancer Centre in late 2025. The MCCCC is Australia's first dedicated comprehensive cancer centre for children. We invite you to apply to join our dynamic and focused team.

What you'll be doing

The KOALA Clinical Trials Assistant works within the Kids Oncology and Leukaemia (KOALA) Team. KOALA is a specialist early phase and precision medicine National/International Coordinating Centre for paediatric oncology trials.

This role involves providing assistance and support in the maintenance of the day-to-day clinical trials and research activities associated with childhood cancers and blood disorders.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has relevant experience or background within a healthcare and/or science setting
  • Demonstrates the ability to take initiative and to exercise basic problem-solving skills with reference to established methods and procedures
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work demands and achieve deadlines
