Receptionist/Administration Assistant

Student Housing Australia is the specialist in the field of purpose built student accommodation with a portfolio of 2,400 apartments. Our diverse accommodation provides students with access to a choice of affordable safe accommodation in close proximity the the Universities and Colleges in and around Melbourne. The needs of local and international students are paramount, as are their common law rights. SHA ensures that all students are protected by operating under the relevant Residential Tenancies Act.
The Company
- Well established property management company specialised in student accommodation
- Two offices located in Melbourne CBD & Caulfield - although this position is available at our City office, conveniently located on Elizabeth Street with tram stop close by.
- Work with a highly experienced; friendly and supportive team
The assignment
- 1st Point "Meet and Greet"
- Telephone Answering / Forwarding of messages via email to relevant persons
- Staffing and looking after Reception Desk
- To refer any new business or appraisals for management by SHA to SHA Director
- Forward all correspondence to the relevant person/s
- Document Production including leases
- Update Internet web listings – eg. Price
- Upload photos to the website
- To ensure Internet listings are accurate
- To ensure rental lists are accurate
- To provide reports to management using the standard forms as directed
- Tasks assigned by Team Leader
- Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
The ideal Candidates
- Previous experience in a Reception and Administrative role
- Experience in the Real Estate Industry (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Experience in dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders in a fast paced environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Advanced knowledge of Office Applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills and prioritisation of workload
- Outstanding problem solving skills and the ability to use your initiative
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to influence key external stakeholders
- Ability to work within a team environment
- National Police Check/Record
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $58,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
