Key Responsibilities

· Build productive working relationships with both local and overseas suppliers of synthetic turf and landscaping materials to ensure consistent and reliable supply.

· Monitor production schedules, shipping progress and freight movements, and hold follow-up discussions with suppliers and freight partners to keep orders on track.

· Follow up outstanding orders and shipments, addressing any potential delays with manufacturers, freight forwarders and transport companies.

· Coordinate purchasing activities from start to finish, including sourcing products, analysing market options, reviewing pricing, negotiating terms and raising purchase orders.

· Review supply chain data—such as freight costs, delivery timeframes, stock turnover and supplier performance—to support better purchasing decisions and forward planning.

· Develop and improve internal tracking tools and processes for monitoring production, shipment updates and container arrivals, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

· Act as the main point of contact for internal teams (sales, warehouse, installation) regarding stock status, expected delivery dates and product availability.

· Perform end-to-end procurement activities, including requests for quotation or tender, sourcing, market analysis, evaluation, and contracting.

· Generate regular reports on procurement and expediting activities, vendor performance, and order tracking.

Requirement

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

· 3-4 years prior experience within a sales/purchasing manager role, with good understanding of synthetic grass, landscape supplies, or any other building materials is preferred;

· Proven experience handling day-to-day procurement activities, with additional exposure to supplier contracts, frameworks, and tender submissions;

· Work rights in Australia;

· Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

· Experience with procurement systems is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
