As Kanban Process Lead based in our factory in Malaga, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to the production team using your experience in materials management to help build Vekta's state-of-the-art products.

About you:

  • Have experience in MRP management? We are looking for MYOB experience
  • Worked previously in the manufacturing industry? It's a bonus
  • Studied your dream job? A tertiary qualification in inventory management or similar ticks the box
  • Enjoy attention to detail? An understanding of Kanban is desired

Your work includes:

  • Work with the production & procurement team to organise Kanban system and ensure on-time material supply.
  • Carry out Kanban performance audits with recommendation for continuous improvement.
  • Analyse forecast of sales order demands and plan Kanban performance with focus on cost reduction strategy.
  • Coordinate BOM structure changes in the business management system.
  • Create and set up safe and ergonomic Kanban systems with relevant visual management presentation considering any manual handling requirements.
  • Assist team to correct any inventory discrepancy and understand cause with corrective action to prevent recurrence.
  • Train relevant staff in use and operation of the Kanban system .

Essential Skills and experience

  • Relevant materials control or project planning  qualification.
  • Production order management.
  • Expert with MYOB business management software.
