This is an exciting, high-growth opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to make a significant impact and grow market share with Heatleys Safety, Industrial and Automotive, working from our DC in Canning Vale, WA.

The Sales Manager leads an expert Field Sales team and is responsible for ensuring we're best in market within the small to medium customer segment; driving sales, improving margin performance, and enhancing customer service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Implement strategies to expand our small and medium customer base – using outside-the-box thinking, data insights and proven strategies to win and grow market share.
• Lead, support, and motivate the Field Sales Team to deliver business objectives. Set goals, monitor performance and drive accountability to foster and role model a culture of sales excellence.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers – ensuring we're going above and beyond to win, retain and grow business.
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, operations and supply chain teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Coach and mentors others across the Sales function on best practice sales methodology – consistently delivering the best outcomes for our customers and the business.
• Maintain a close focus on data, reporting and insights to ensure we're quoting, selling and achieving outcomes in alignment with objectives and forecasts.

Competencies, Skills and Experience:

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a sales team within the Industrial & Safety sector to meet and exceed targets.
• Exceptional sales skillset, with the ability to win business and grow these skills within your team.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring and driving sales performance via KPIs, PowerBI reporting and other tools.
• Strong change management capability.
