Medical Receptionist (Client Service Officer) – Physiotherapy Practice

Permanent part-time | ~20 hrs/week | Afternoons & evenings | Sunbury

Typical Duties

  • Welcome patients warmly and professionally, ensuring every interaction reflects our values.
  • Manage bookings, calls, payments, and multiple online systems to keep the clinic running smoothly.
  • Support our physiotherapists and visiting health professionals with efficient, accurate administration.
  • Problem-solve and prioritise on the go in a busy, fast-paced front desk environment.
  • Contribute to team culture—celebrate wins, support colleagues, and add to the friendly, positive atmosphere our patients and team members love.

Desirable Extras

  • Sales or retail experience (confidently discussing product options).
  • Social media content creation and advertising.
  • Website maintenance.
  • AI and digital technology skills.

You
  • Thrive when it's busy; are a calm communicator with sharp attention to detail.
  • Confident with IT and digital technology as well as learning new systems.
  • Warm, professional manner and genuine care for people.
  • Reception/admin experience ideal (health or allied health an advantage).

Hours and Pay
  • ~20 hrs/week across ~4 days.
  • At least 3 late finishes per week (to ~8:15 pm).
  • One Saturday/month (8:15 am–2:15 pm) – optional.
  • $30/hr weekdays, $42/hr Saturdays + 12% super.
  • Financial contributions towards professional development and regular in-house training.
  • Leave entitlements.
