About Us

JMB Environmental Consulting is a leading consultancy specialising in hazardous materials management, mould and moisture inspections, and occupational hygiene. Due to strong growth, we are looking for a detail-focused Trainee Report Administrator to join our team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for preparing and issuing final reports to clients. Reports will already be technically approved by our senior consultants — your role is to ensure they are formatted, consistent, accurate, and client-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Downloading and formatting finalised reports in Word.
  • Proofreading for grammar, spelling, consistency, and presentation.
  • Cross-checking information (job numbers, dates, sample details, client details).
  • Liaising with consultants/senior reviewers if clarifications are needed.
  • Issuing reports to clients.

What You'll Bring

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and general IT systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle competing deadlines.
  • Reliable and consistent approach to repetitive tasks.

Desirable:

  • Previous admin, document control, or reporting experience.
  • Exposure to environmental consulting, insurance, or laboratory workflows.
