The Role

This full-time position reports directly to our CEO and General Manager and plays a vital role in customer on-boarding, sales and management. You'll be a point of contact for trade and retail clients, providing professional and warm support while also handling some light admin and accounts tasks.

No two days are the same — from contacting new and prospective customers, to assisting clients with artwork selections to supporting our GM's with end of month data — and you'll be supported with plenty of on-the-job training to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional and proactive sales support to trade and retail customers via phone, email and in our Alexandria showroom.
  • Prepare quotes and assist with artwork selections, ensuring clients feel confident and supported.
  • Process and enter orders with accuracy in our ERP system (NetSuite experience is highly regarded).
  • Assist the GM with end-of-month reconciliations, sales reports and invoices (no accounting qualifications needed, just accuracy and confidence with numbers).
  • Handle inbound calls and general administrative support.
  • Contribute to the smooth running and presentation of the showroom.
About You

You'll be the type of person who:

  • Is comfortable representing our brand with trade and retail customers, including in-bound and out-bound communications. The successful candidate will be confident in making product recommendations and enjoy building positive relationships. In this regard, a qualification or eye for interior design will be highly regarded.
  • Has a minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience.
  • Is organised and detail-focused — able to juggle many small tasks, prioritise effectively and ensure nothing falls between the cracks.
  • Communicates clearly with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Thrives as part of a small, supportive team.
  • Is comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and systems.
  • Has basic data entry skills for working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Has sales and inventory system experience (NetSuite preferred, but not essential).
  • Brings an eye for design or intermediate interior design knowledge (a big plus).
