The Opportunity

As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with clinical teams, healthcare providers, and clients to deliver care within your scope.
  • Develop and manage client care plans, collecting and assessing relevant information to meet goals.
  • Cast, modify, fit, and evaluate prostheses to ensure they achieve desired outcomes.
  • Attend amputee clinics and collaborate with specialists to prescribe appropriate treatments.
  • Communicate with the technical team to assist with prosthesis manufacturing and ensure quality.
  • Follow safety protocols, minimise risks, and maintain clean and organised work areas.
  • Maintain accurate client records and adhere to funding, administrative, and reporting requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and ensure all actions align with company values and policies.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experience:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's in Prosthetics & Orthotics or equivalent (New graduates welcome to apply)
  • Current membership with the Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (preferred)
  • AOPA membership must be held at the time of application
  • Strong focus on patient care with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and handle a variety of technical and clinical tasks
  • Proactive approach and a commitment to continuous learning
