We are currently seeking a Full Time, Guest Service Agent to join our successful team.

In this role you will report directly to the Front Office Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at front office assisting, supporting F&B and coordinating housekeeping.

This role is a hands-on position with a strong focus on customer service and will require a driven individual who is able to work across all departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties including guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Liaising directly with Housekeeping ensuring the highest of standards be delivered.
  • Effective allocation of rooms.
  • Complaint handling
  • Ensure safety of fellow staff and guests following company policy and procedure at all times
  • Assist the Front Office Manager with rates and revenue targets
  • Handling of reservations
  • Assist in group reservations & accounts receivable.
  • The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Previous Front office experience within a hotel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • A willingness to learn and adopt new skills
  • Experience with PROTEL Hotel Management System is advantageous but not essential
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends including public holidays with a rotating roster and night shifts.
