We are currently seeking a Full Time, Front Office Service Agent to join our successful team.
In this role you will report directly to the Front Office Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at front office assisting in coordinating housekeeping and Food and Beverage.
This role is a hands-on position with a strong focus on customer service and will require a driven individual.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Reception duties including guest check-ins and check-outs
- Liaising directly with Housekeeping ensuring the highest of standards be delivered.
- Effective allocation of rooms.
- Complaint handling
- Ensure safety of fellow staff and guests following company policy and procedure at all times
- Assist the Front Office Manager with rates and revenue targets
- Handling of reservations
- Assist in group reservations & accounts receivable.
- Previous Front office experience within a hotel.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- RSA certificate.
- Food and beverage experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- A willingness to learn and adopt new skills
- Experience with PROTEL Hotel Management System is advantageous but not essential
- Available to work week days and weekends including public holidays with a rotating roster.
