We're now seeking a Payroll Officer to join our high-performing support team. If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about accurate payroll processing in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do
Reporting to our Finance Manager and working closely with HR, you will:

  • Prepare and process fortnightly payroll across multiple clinics in Australia and New Zealand using Employment Hero
  • Interpret award conditions (especially the Health Professionals and Support Services Award) and apply them accurately to ensure compliant payroll outcomes
  • Manage compliance tasks including superannuation, PAYG, KiwiSaver, leave entitlements, and payroll tax calculations
  • Respond to payroll queries with professionalism and clear guidance
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams on reconciliations, reporting, and audit support
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of payroll processes and system efficiencies

What You Bring

  • Proven experience with payroll processing with Employment Hero or Keypay (ESSENTIAL).
  • Solid understanding of Australian modern awards, especially within healthcare or related industries
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a team
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and compliance
