Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Accountant to join our finance team on permanent full-time position. Based in our office in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, this role will play a pivotal role in our finance team, reporting to the Commercial Manager and the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables processes. Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities. Oversee banking operations and ensure accurate monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow management. Prepare statutory reports including BAS, PAYG, and Superannuation. Actively participate in financial meetings with the Managing Directors. Review payroll preparation and payments. Supervise inventory management. Provide leadership and guidance to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent qualification. Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience in Australia. Analytical Skills: Acute analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Communication: Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels. Software Proficiency: Proficient in Pronto (experience with MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems is advantageous) and MS Office Suite.
