Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting your community through meaningful compliance work? Join our Environmental Regulation and Compliance team as a Compliance Support Officer and play a vital role in ensuring our city remains safe, sustainable and well-regulated.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for enquiries related to compliance actions, particularly Penalty Infringement Notices (PINs) and the Revenue NSW review process. You'll provide high-level administrative and customer support, manage sensitive information and assist in preparing documentation for legal proceedings. Your work will directly support authorised officers and the legal team, helping to uphold public health, safety and environmental standards.
You'll also be responsible for managing service requests through Council's customer request system and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department. This is a dynamic role that may evolve over time, offering opportunities to grow and adapt as part of a collaborative and community-focused team.

With a solid understanding of compliance and enforcement administrative practices, you're confident in handling complaints, interpreting legislation and supporting community outcomes with empathy and clarity.
Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, and you're comfortable using technology to manage information and respond to enquiries. You're also known for your initiative and sound judgment, especially when dealing with sensitive or confidential matters.

- Competitive salary from $86,734 - $100,799 a year plus 12 per cent superannuation
- 35-hour working week on nine-day fortnight and flexible work arrangements
