About The Role
We are seeking an individual who is wanting to grow and develop their career with us. This role will provide opportunities to set foundations in early career development. It will encompass developing client relationships both internally and externally, and working in partnership with project leads and supporting the wider team. Reporting to the Finance Lead, the Finance Officer is responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable and provide finance and administration support through payroll. This role will support the business by providing project support through invoicing, managing contracts, and assisting with setting up users and clients, validating data and forecasting in a project management system. The Financial Officer will liaise with external accountants to lodge quarterly BAS and validate data ensuring accuracy of reporting and accounting.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Previous experience in a graduate role.
• 2-3+ years' experience in an Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or similar role
• Exposure to Payroll and Project Management systems
• Strong attention to detail.
• High capability to maintain company confidentiality.
• Comfortable leading conversations with internal and external personnel.
• Experience and ability to monitor tax across multiple states (NSW, VIC and QLD)
• Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to a changing and flexible environment.
