About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist (Vendor Management) to join our client's major transformation program focused on driving commercial excellence, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

This position plays a key role across supplier relationship management, tactical sourcing, and spend forecasting, while partnering with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relationship Management & Governance

  • Develop and execute supplier relationship strategies.

  • Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and governance.
  • Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative "One Team" culture between vendors and internal teams.

  • Tactical Sourcing & Commercial Operations

  • Manage sourcing activities including RFOs, negotiations, and contract execution.

  • Ensure compliance with category strategies and procurement policies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and commercial records.

  • Spend Forecasting & Reporting

  • Collaborate with finance and cost control to develop spend forecasts.

  • Analyse procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare commercial reports and dashboards to support decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Management & Commercial Support

  • Act as a central point of contact for procurement and commercial matters.

  • Triage commercial requests and provide timely, compliant advice.
  • Build strong relationships across business units to drive strategic outcomes.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, commercial, or vendor-management roles.
  • Exposure to large-scale technology or ERP implementation projects highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing processes, contracts, and governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems (SAP experience desirable).
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
