What you'll be doing
The Operational Support Officer provides high-level organisational support to the inTouch leadership team including Program Manager, NUM and senior clinicians.

The leadership team works at both an operational and strategic level and covers a large and complex portfolio.

This role is integral to ensuring high level administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner. The Operational Support Officer will be the secretariat for executive meetings and will also undertake Human Resource, Finance and Clinical Governance work to support the team.

The Operational Support Officer works closely with clinicians, senior staff from Integrated and Community Health, Western Sydney Local Health District executives, Non-Government Organisation and the private sector.

The Operational Support Officer must remain professional, courteous and positive at all times and act in accordance with the Code of Conduct and other organisational policies and procedures.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated comprehensive and successful experience in providing high level executive assistance and support to senior management including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a complex environment demanding confidentiality, flexibility and discernment.
  2. Demonstrated organisational/time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, meet tight timeframes and manage competing demands.
  3. Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality, to interpret complex information and advice and use discretion in knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency.
  4. Demonstrated ability to project a professional image and establish credibility and trust with all staff and customers.
  5. Advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of office products and ability to effectively utilise an electronic document management system such as HPE and rostering system such as HealthRoster.
  6. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to prepare and review complex correspondence within a senior management environment and advice to internal and external clients.
