**Company Description

Small tax accounting business looking for 2 days a week, contract bookkeeper**

Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Bookkeeper, based in Melbourne, VIC. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, and ensuring the proper use of accounting software. The professional will assist with budget monitoring, reconciliations, and the preparation of reports as required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Bookkeeping and creating Financial Statements
  • Experience with Accounting Software and processing Journal Entries
  • Strong understanding of Finance and related concepts
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
  • Relevant certifications or a qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or financial management roles is preferred
