trade and non-trade roles

resource maintenance scope

About The Role
Reporting to the
HR Manager
and working as part of a small collaborative team, the
Recruitment & Mobilisation Officer
is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates for various positions
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment of blue-collar and project personnel
  • Coordinating mobilisation of new starters in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordinating labour hire personnel for shutdown
  • Maintaining databases and providing reports on recruitment activities
  • Managing rostering, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Liaising with site teams and hiring managers to meet recruitment needs
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies

What We're Looking For
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

  • Minimum 3 years of recruitment and mobilisation experience within mining and resources.
  • Previous experience in the resources sector or a similar industry.
  • Strong internal and external customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, with a preference for JobAdder.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, high level of initiative, and excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and proactive approach in supporting site operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment by working in a collaborative manner
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using Safety Management Systems (INX desirable).
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment (desirable).
  • A WA 'C' class driver's licence.
