The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Procurement Assistant to join our team in Box Hill, NSW, supporting construction projects across Sydney.

In this role, you will assist the team by managing day-to-day procurement activities including quoting for materials, data entry, maintaining supplier records, coordinating supplier communications, and supporting tender and contract administration. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth procurement operations and timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves day to day administrative duties in a small office environment.

The position is 4 days a week on a work from home and office location, to the right applicant.

Additional Responsibilities Include

  • Maintaining accurate procurement records and databases
  • Supporting supplier engagement and communication
  • Assisting with tender documentation and contract administration
  • Coordinating with project teams to track procurement schedules and delivery status
  • Helping ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  • Assisting with other administrative duties as directed.

About You:

We are seeking a confident self-starter who is detail-focused with good organisational and communication skills, keen to build your procurement experience within a construction environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in procurement support and pre construction including council lodgements and administration
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and terminology
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly with Mac systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Able to work in a small office team environment, assisting other team members where required with day to day office duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
