What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to onboarding.
  • Accurately maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
  • Support workplace relations by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting positive work culture.
  • Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development initiatives.
  • Manage training and development programs to upskill staff and promote career growth. Conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and analyse workforce trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Keep up to date with legislation, awards, collective agreements and employment contracts, wage payment systems and dispute settlement procedures.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a human resources advisory or similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment laws, awards, and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
