About Foodcube
Foodcube is an innovative Melbourne-based urban farming company transforming rooftops, courtyards, schools, workplaces, retirement living and communities into productive green spaces and thriving food gardens. Our modular, self-watering wicking-bed systems are helping cities grow their own food, build community resilience, and create cooler, greener environments.
In 2026 we'll launch Cool Canopy — a breakthrough pop-up living canopy system designed to combine shade, greenery, and evapotranspiration cooling. This next-generation product will position Foodcube as a leader in urban greening, urban farming, urban cooling and climate-resilient design across Australia.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Sales & Marketing Manager to drive our next growth phase nationally.
As a senior member of the leadership team, you'll:
- Help develop and lead the sales strategy to deliver national revenue growth.
- Manage key relationships and secure projects with councils, developers, retailers, architects, community organisations, schools and other target groups.
- Direct and inspire marketing campaigns that build brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Oversee the launch of Cool Canopy across Australia in 2026.
- Collaborate closely with the Directors, CFO, and team to meet and exceed company targets.
- Help build sales teams interstate
You'll combine commercial acumen, creativity, and purpose — helping shape the future of sustainable cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies across all major market sectors.
- Build and manage B2B and B2C relationships nationally.
- Lead sales in Victoria and nationally.
- Deliver engaging marketing campaigns across digital, social, and trade channels.
- Coordinate product launches, trade events, and media activity.
- Track performance, report on KPIs, and provide market intelligence to guide innovation.
About You
You're an energetic, strategic sales and marketing professional who thrives on growth and impact. You'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally within horticulture, sustainability, or green infrastructure sectors or similar.
- Strong B2B experience with proven success achieving revenue and margin targets.
- Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong digital marketing and brand-building capabilities.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and a genuine passion for sustainability, practical climate action and innovation.
