Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring a VIP Admin Assistant to join our Executive Office team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full time (Max - Fixed Term) based at Melbourne Park from Oct 2025 to February 2026.

As this is seasonal role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December – February. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the creation of daily reporting and obtaining information to provide to the hosts on the floor, taking into account key relationships, sensitivities, and strategic placements.
  • Distributing digital tickets for VIP hospitality and stakeholder events, and tracking tickets issued, recalled, or changed.
  • Providing ongoing support to VIP guests, responding to enquiries and troubleshooting digital ticket issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supporting the VIP & Stakeholder Relations Manager and Coordinator with RSVP updates, hospitality enquiries, and guest communications.
  • Assisting with general tournament information, ad-hoc administrative tasks, and the pack-down of hospitality facilities at the conclusion of the event.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high level of computer literacy and confidence with troubleshooting systems.
  • Bring previous experience in administration, ideally within events, corporate, or VIP environments.
  • Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to remain calm in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to problem-solve independently while contributing to a team.
  • Be flexible with working hours and arrangements throughout the tournament period.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
