Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring a VIP Event Operations Assistant to join our Executive Office team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full time (Max - Fixed Term) based at Melbourne Park from Oct 2025 to February 2026.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the VIP invitation process for Australian Open events, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are updated.
• Collaborating with the VIP Admin Assistant to manage digital ticket distribution and ensuring all RSVP changes are actioned across databases and key documents.
• Recording and managing special requests, travel details, and access requirements for high-profile guests.
• Assisting in the collation and distribution of invitations, passes, and accreditation both onsite and in advance of the event.
• Providing front-line guest management support, including responding promptly to enquiries and troubleshooting last-minute changes to ensure a seamless VIP experience.
• Supporting VIP hosts across all AO and TA events to ensure premium guest experiences are delivered seamlessly.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a high level of computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.
• Bring previous experience in events, corporate, or VIP administration.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with VIP stakeholders.
• Remain calm and solution-focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Show initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities while working both independently and collaboratively.
• Be flexible with working hours and fully available during the event period.
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
