The Role

The core of this role requires a broad, experienced, multi-skilled, dynamic admin person, ideally with previous bookkeeping, rostering, and payroll exposure (or a desire to learn).

If you seek more than admin and wanting diversity and autonomy, this is your role.

You will provide support to the senior team and the business overall.

About You

The major software platforms you will use are Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ideally, you will have had exposure to Xero and Deputy or a desire to learn and expand your skill base.

There will be a handover and initial training period with ongoing training.

It is a hands-on, 3-day-a-week (Friday, Monday, Tuesday hours, work-from-office permanent part-time role. We are happy to explore a flexible start date

Our modern, bright offices are co-located on-site with our manufacturing and main warehouse, where you can enjoy our family-valued culture

You are a very experienced admin or finance person who is articulate and has worked in a medium-sized business, ideally with a manufacturing and or multisite environment.

We were established in years ago) and have nine retail picture framing stores in Melbourne Metro, the most advanced automated manufacturing picture framing facility in Australia, wholesale, import, drop-ship and e-commerce.

Admin Functions

  • Phone answering (minimal)
  • Customer phone enquiries
  • Missing or damaged freight queries (minimal)
  • Ad hoc purchasing of stationery & consumables
  • Team Uniform ordering
  • Supporting organising training/sales/Christmas party style events
  • Maintaining key registers
  • Marketing support
  • Purchasing support
  • General communications to our team

Rostering Payroll and Finance Assistant

There may be elements below that you may not have had direct experience in; however, if you are computer literate and desire to learn, we will work with you to add this to your skills base using Xero and Deputy.

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Debtor invoicing (minimal)
  • Debtors
  • Creditors
  • Retail rostering support, Timesheet approval, Payroll Processing.
  • On and Off-boarding processes
