The Role

We are seeking the services of a passionate and dedicated Horticultural maintenance specialist with knowledge of plants, pests, and diseases to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The individual we are seeking should love working both indoors and outdoors, will be assisting with the maintenance of our green walls, green roofs, green facades, planter boxes, and 3D greening installations in New South Wales.

The candidate will need to have horticultural knowledge and demonstrate the ability to work in a team. Ideally, you should also be versatile, as the role may lead to assisting with other facets of the business in the future.

  • Permanent part-time and all the associated benefits.

    Starting with 2 days a week with scope to expand.
  • Some weekend work may be required.
  • Fytogreen NSW Yard in Banksmeadow, most work will be in Sydney CBD

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Competency in landscape maintenance and irrigation.
  • Horticultural knowledge.
  • Knowledge of plants, pests, and disease.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to use their initiative.
  • Be able to work in a team environment, encourage others, and take pride in your work.
  • Ropes qualifications and experience are seen as an advantage.
  • WWC, EWP, Working at Heights, and Forklift will be seen as an advantage.
  • The successful applicant must have a driver's license

    ( Manual license preferred, although we would be happy to provide training to obtain a manual license if required.)
  • Experience working on Elevated Green Infrastructure is an advantage.
