About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service and Administration Officer to join our team in Laverton North.
This role will provide day-to-day administrative and export documentation support to our operations and logistics teams. You'll assist with customer documentation, handle general office tasks, and act as backup for our Halal and Logistics Coordinator.
The position would ideally suit someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the export processes within a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
• Consolidate invoices and provide administrative support to the operations and logistics teams.
• Handle day-to-day office tasks, including answering and directing front office calls.
• Assist with export documentation, data entry, and record keeping.
• Liaise with customers and certification bodies to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Act as backup for Halal-related documentation and support
• Maintain organised systems and files across internal software and shared folders.
• Provide support for general administrative tasks and assist other departments as required.
Schedule orders from customers and coordinate between various stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in administration, logistics, or export documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.
• Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support across departments.
• Understanding of Halal certification or export processes.
Preferred (Not Essential):
• Experience in export administration, cold storage, or food manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as ISIS, EdiSoft, or BSM.
• Knowledge of Australian customs or export compliance requirements.
• Invoicing experience.
