Logistics Coordinator

About Us:

Our family-owned business is expanding its logistics operations and seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and organized person to assist our Logistics Manager and join our dynamic and fast-paced team. You will play a key part in assisting with the managing of our daily logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments, delivering exceptional service to our clients by supporting and assisting the Logistics Manager in all other tasks and functions as required

* Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and schedule daily collections from a wide range of customers

  • Prepare orders and equipment for driver dispatch

  • Liaise with clients to ensure clear communication and satisfaction

  • Work with internal departments to coordinate logistical and operational tasks

  • Manage the EPA portal, including ordering Waste Tracking Certificates (WTC) as required

  • Support problem-solving efforts and react quickly to unforeseen issues

  • Maintain accurate records and assist with general administrative tasks

  • Use MS Office programs to input data, prepare reports, and manage communications

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service

  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.)

  • Participate in business growth and expansion initiatives

  • other duties which may be requested from time to time

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Quick-thinking and confident in problem-solving under pressure

  • Comfortable working in a challenging, fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Basic MYOB knowledge would be advantageous.

  • Team player who can work effectively across multiple departments
