**Maintenance Supervisor**

**The Company**

Halcyon Proteins is a single site that manufactures a range of liquid and powder specialty food ingredients for the local and export markets. An Australian owned and operated company since 1946 located in Dandenong, Victoria is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor.

Hours of work: 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Business operating hours 24hours per day Monday to Friday

The position of Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on maintenance role responsible for running all plant and workshop operations:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and building of a maintenance team
- Co-ordinate and manage contractors.
- Maintenance of ALL plant and equipment in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Acts and relevant Australian Standards.
- Co-ordinate all mechanical and electrical work and installation of new plant equipment.
- Ensure adequate preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out on all plant and equipment.
- Maintain stock records and purchasing of parts & equipment.
- Conduct weekly Maintenance Scheduling and Toolbox meetings.
- Co-ordinate On-call afterhours breakdown Monday - Friday

**The Applicant**

It is preferred, but not essential that you should have

1. Experience managing a maintenance team.

2. Preferably have Experience in an industrial Production or Food manufacturing environment.

3. Demonstrate a wide range of abilities required to operate and run plant and workshop activities.

4. Demonstrate knowledge in OH&S requirements
