We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Workshop Manager to join our team in Orange, NSW, and drive operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction to new heights.

About the Role

As our Workshop Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a busy and dynamic diesel service operation. You'll oversee a skilled team of mechanics, manage workflow, ensure top-quality workmanship, and keep customers coming back with service they can trust.

You will be responsible for:


• Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of qualified diesel mechanics and apprentices


• Managing daily workshop operations, scheduling, and job allocation


• Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met


• Providing expert mechanical advice and hands-on support where needed


• Building strong customer relationships and maintaining service excellence


• Overseeing inventory, parts, and job costing


• Reporting directly to senior management and contributing to business growth

What We are Looking For


• Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle or equivalent)


• Proven leadership experience in a busy workshop environment


• Strong diagnostic and technical ability


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Commitment to safety, quality, and team culture


• Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and workshop systems
