About the role
Boortmalt is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrative Coordinator to join our team in our plant in Ballarat. This entry level, full-time position will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our plant office, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing
-
Coordinating all office operations, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, data entry, managing invoices
-
Providing administrative support to the management and production team, such as drafting, preparing and managing correspondence and documents, and managing files and records
-
Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel where necessary
-
Assisting with the procurement of office supplies and other equipment, ensuring adequate inventory is maintained
-
Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
-
Collaborating with the wider team to support various projects and initiatives as needed
What we're looking for
-
Minimum 1 years of experience in an administrative or office coordinator role, although we will also consider a recent graduate seeking a role in the Malting or Food Manufacturing sector
-
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with individuals at all levels
-
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and willingness to learn inhouse systems including SAP
-
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation

A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
