Senior Specialist, Rebel Key Accounts Planning

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
Drive the financial success of adidas by managing account planning for Rebel key accounts and categories. You'll take ownership of strategic planning, retail sales forecasting, and key item performance - transforming data into actionable insights that fuel growth. This role ensures close alignment between adidas and Rebel through transparent planning, accurate forecasting, and clear performance measurement against KPIs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic commercial and business plans for assigned Rebel accounts and categories
- Support the creation of annual financial plans and deliver consistent weekly and YTD forecast updates
- Build and present QBR (Quarterly Business Review) and T2T (Top-to-Top) reports to drive strategic alignment
- Manage sales forecasts to ensure accuracy and alignment with business KPIs
- Analyze demand, depth, and size curves to optimize orderbook efficiency and product allocation
- Contribute to buy review processes to enable sustainable, profitable growth in line with business objectives
- Use data-driven insights to engage stakeholders and guide commercial decision-making
- Review retail sales, margins, and inventory performance to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Highlight in-season risks and provide actionable recommendations to optimize results
- Manage orderbook activities, including cancellations and funding requests, in collaboration with sales teams
- Develop tools and reporting processes to improve sell-through performance, focusing on top franchises and key items
- Prepare clear and consistent weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports by category
- Coordinate seasonal and financial forecasting processes across internal and external partners
- Support Go-to-Market (GTM) forecasting and customer financial reporting
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support business strategies and customer engagement
- Share best practices and align with other Planning Managers to strengthen the wholesale planning function
- Take responsibility for all planning activities for assigned Rebel account(s)
- Mentor and support team members in developing their planning and analytical capabilities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights
- Strong retail math knowledge and deep understanding of sell-through dynamics and performance drivers
- Experience in identifying consumer, retail, and competitor trends to support business planning
- Confident communicator with the ability to present insights and influence decision-making at multiple levels
- Skilled at integrating data from multiple sources to deliver demand-driven forecasts and analysis
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across teams and functions
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and contribute to a high-performance, team-oriented culture
REQUISITE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in buying, planning, allocation, or vendor sales within a multi-store retail environment
- Experience in the athletic or sporting goods industry strongly preferred
