Key Account Manager

National Account Manager – Temporary Site & Event Infrastructure. Salary: Up to $130,000 base + $20k Car Allowance or Company Vehicle + Super + Bonuses.

Overview

We are working with a global provider of temporary safety and infrastructure solutions, offering sales and hire solutions in ANZ. Their product portfolio includes high-performance, hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) vehicle barriers, temporary fencing, portable power and generator sets, alongside associated site equipment. These solutions are trusted by local and state governments, police forces, major event organisers, stadiums and venues, in addition to channel partners like construction and traffic management companies across Australia & New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and hire opportunities (new and existing) by targeting councils, government agencies, stadiums, event organisers, traffic management, and construction markets.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects through structured CRM use, cold calling, networking, and industry engagement.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and site-based trials to showcase safety and operational benefits.
  • Partner with hire and rental affiliates to maximise utilisation rates and expand market penetration.
  • Develop and execute national sales strategies that align to market trends and customer needs.
  • Lead engagement at trade shows, industry expos, and high-profile events to increase visibility and drive lead generation.
  • Collaborate with regional specialists, contractors, and technical staff to ensure smooth execution of projects and deployments.
  • Provide clear sales reporting, forecasting, and territory reviews to the General Manager.
  • Travel extensively across Australia to meet clients, conduct demonstrations, and attend industry functions.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience selling or hiring out temporary site and event infrastructure such as fencing, crowd barriers / barricades, portable buildings, generators, lighting towers, traffic management equipment, or related safety solutions sold to councils, police, stadiums, event organisers, and construction clientele.
  • Experience managing tender processes, government procurement panels, or major project bids.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders including councils, venue managers, transport authorities, and procurement leads.
  • Physically capable of towing a 3.5t trailer and assisting with demonstration setups as required. Vehicle with towing capacity to be supplied by our client, otherwise you may supply your own vehicle provided it meets the eligibility criteria.
