We are seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to join our National Vehicle Operations Department as a Vehicle Operations Specialist at our National Head Office in Mulgrave, reporting to one of our Vehicle Operations Managers.
About the role:
As a Vehicle Operations Specialist, you will be a key member of the National Vehicle Operations team, managing both Vehicle Operations tasks and Loan Fleet Vehicle tasks. You will coordinate with internal teams, dealerships, and external suppliers to maintain seamless operations while ensuring our customers are supported during their vehicle service experience.
This position requires a full-time, in-office presence
five days
a week, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing loan car availability for customers, prioritizing requests linked to warranty repairs.
- Monitoring fleet security, vehicle tracking, and upkeep to ensure a reliable and efficient service.
- Overseeing the entire vehicle lifecycle, from ordering and delivery to auctioning returned vehicles.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle locations, usage, and associated documentation.
- Supporting the broader Vehicle Operations Team with administrative and operational tasks.
- Driving continuous improvement by reviewing processes and implementing necessary changes.
About you:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with experience in fleet management and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You'll have a proven track record in managing fleets of up to 150 vehicles, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and the ability to navigate competing priorities under tight deadlines. A background in customer service, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, will help you succeed in this role. You should also bring a solid understanding of business operations, ideally supported by a tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve results, this is the role for you.
