About the Role

As the Senior Manager – Sales Planning, you'll play a key role in supporting Mazda Australia's sales strategy through accurate reporting, efficient promotion execution, and lead performance monitoring. You'll be at the centre of key relationships with internal teams and partners like Mazda Finance, working together to deliver shared goals and enhance our dealer network performance.

This position requires a full-time, in-office presence
five days a week
, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly sales reporting, including state-based estimates and progress tracking against monthly targets.
  • Coordinate vehicle promotions from concept to execution, ensuring clear communication and smooth deployment via Mazda systems.
  • Lead the relationship with Mazda Finance, aligning strategies through regular collaboration and meetings.
  • Process and communicate Mazda Australia's vehicle retail, wholesale, and production budgets using Hyperion and internal systems.
  • Oversee lead management performance, working with the National Digital Team to optimise lead conversion and dealer engagement.
  • Conduct vehicle sales planning analysis to identify opportunities for improving sales outcomes and stock efficiency.
  • Develop and guide Vehicle Stock Control specialists and oversee creation of financial year and bi-monthly stock flow plans.

About You:

You're analytical, collaborative, and outcome-focused, with a strong understanding of sales operations and a proactive approach to stakeholder management. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy turning insights into action.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience in sales operations, sales planning or marketing analytics, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and reporting skills with a keen eye for trends and performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience working with dealer networks or within the automotive industry is a bonus.
  • A challenger mindset – curious, adaptable, and solution-oriented.
