What you will do

  • Deliver high quality services that are responsive to client and consumer needs and expectations.

  • Deliver a high degree of customer service to all internal and external customers and clients.

  • Operates in a way that enhances cross functional collaboration.

  • Actively manages incidents and complaints that relate to the functional area of the role as required, including the use of any or all internal systems.

  • Provide professional receptionist support including the triage and management of all general calls into head office, welcoming visitors to the office, responding to general queries and directing calls to the appropriate person for assistance and taking accurate messages.

  • Ensure the maintenance and stock of all consumables in head office.

  • Attend to outgoing and incoming mail and arrange couriers when required.

  • Provide high level administrative support to functions in head office and support organisational projects & initiatives.

  • Process confidential information and documentation.

  • Provide administrative support with organisational initiatives including supporting organisational functions that are held in head office.

  • Provide general support as determined by the Office Manager to functions in head office and relief when staff are on leave or during busy periods.

  • Build strong relationships with other roles in head office and in operations, to ensure we are working in partnership to deliver on the purpose of the organisation.

  • Ensure support provided is of a high standard and all outputs are administered accurately and delivered within deadlines.

  • Participate in any work required by the organisation's internal audit program.

  • In collaboration with other team members, position the organisation as a well-regarded and trusted partner in service delivery with people with a disability, their families, and carers.

  • Ensure that individual performance targets are met.

About you

  • A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer focussed services.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable to have accredited certificate in Business Administration (or similar)
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role providing administrative support and/or reception support
  • Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, to produce professional organisational reports and presentations
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a 'C' class driver's license, along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
  • Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
