Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • This role reports to the Managing Director – Australasia.
  • The incumbent will be very hands on and strategic in all aspects of the role.
  • The role works closely with the GMs of Sales, the BDMs Sales and Product Teams for Automotive Replacement (AR) and Industrial Replacement (IR)

  • Functional parameters include but are not limited to the following areas of responsibility:

  • Launch Planning & Marketing

  • Liaise with Marketing Managers of the Gates key customersReport on Return on Investment (RoI) of sales promotions, agree targets with customers and ensure results meet target
  • Advertising & Communication
  • Artwork & Design Management
  • Promotional Planning & Coordination
  • Public Relations & Sponsorship
  • Event Management
  • Information Management & Reporting
  • Assist with a variety of other sales and marketing projects and tasks as required

Keys to Success

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Coach one junior Marketing team member

Requirements And Preferred Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales and marketing environment
  • Formal qualification in Marketing .
  • Must have excellent computer skills with ability to efficiently use various digital marketing tools and Office suite, especially EXCEL.
  • Experience with Marketo (Marketing Automation) and CRM programs will be advantageous but not essential
  • Have the proper work right status for employment in Australia without requiring company sponsorship.
