Civil Engineering Intern

Mack Civil is now accepting applications for our next internship intake at our Peakhurst office.

As an Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a more experienced engineer in a wide variety of project management tasks and responsibilities within the Interns University internship guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Current driver's licence preferred (for attending site visits).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with an eagerness to learn.

Key Tasks and Activities:

Students will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and may assist with:

  • Preparing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) documentation.
  • Supporting project schedules, budgets, and reporting.
  • Assisting with procurement of materials and scheduling of resources.
  • Monitoring and implementing health and safety controls on site.
  • Supporting project management activities and preparing daily progress reports.
  • General office and project support, including data collection and stakeholder interaction.

This is an unpaid industry placement, designed to provide students with valuable hands-on experience, exposure to live infrastructure projects, and mentoring from experienced civil engineering professionals.

Please note this role is an unpaid role.
