About the Host Company:

Our host companies operate across various sectors of civil engineering, with core strengths in construction, structural designing, and cost estimation. They actively contribute to residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, offering hands-on experience in drafting, planning, and on-site coordination.

The successful intern would get exposure to the following duties:

  • Assisting senior engineers in the design, planning, and construction of various civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, airports, and water treatment plants.
  • Support senior engineers in preparing detailed drawings and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Participate in site visits to observe construction progress, take measurements, and support quality control documentation.
  • Help in calculating material quantities and preparing basic cost estimates under supervision.
  • Maintain project files, update drawing registers, and assist in preparing daily or weekly progress reports.
  • Research construction materials and suppliers to support procurement and estimation teams.
  • Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to gain exposure to different aspects of project execution.
  • Follow safety regulations, engineering standards, and company policies while actively seeking to learn from mentors and team leads.
