Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering productive, safe and quality works across a variety of civil construction projects.

This role will require working both in Regional NSW and occasionally within the Sydney region. Depending on project location, rosters may be 5 days on / 2 days off, or 10 days on / 4 days off. Candidates based outside of Sydney are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning, organisation and programming.
  • Procurement, subcontractor selection and management.
  • Conducting safety checks and ensuring compliance.
  • Client communication and consultation.
  • Quality assurance, inspections and documentation.
  • Assisting with budget compilation, cost tracking and reporting.
  • Reviewing drawings and issuing RFIs to obtain accurate construction information.
  • Supporting internal business management system maintenance and audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Engineer role within civil construction.
  • Tertiary engineering qualification.
  • Class C driver's licence.
  • White Card / Construction Induction Safety Certificate.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
