Are you an enthusiastic marketing student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience with a global industry leader?

We are recruiting for a well-established international electrical company seeking a proactive and eager Marketing & Events Assistant to join a dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build real-world experience across events, marketing coordination, and partner engagement, while being mentored by a supportive team.

  • This role is a 4 day per week role - Ideally Monday-Thursday but can be flexible.
  • Please note this is a Maternity leave cover contract until April 2026
  • This is an immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination & Logistics:

    Assist with event planning and execution – including sending invitations, managing RSVPs, and supporting both on-site and virtual events.
  • Promotional Campaign Support:

    Manage back-end processes for redemptions, track participation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Partner Communications:

    Help coordinate updates and communications with distribution partners, particularly around new product launches.
  • Collateral & Content Management:

    Proofread non-technical marketing materials, update copy, and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Supplier & Contractor Liaison:

    Communicate with vendors, event contractors, and merchandise suppliers to support event and marketing activities.
  • Sales & Channel Support:

    Coordinate the dispatch of promotional materials, merchandise, and equipment to sales teams and channel partners.
  • Marketing Admin Support:

    Assist with purchase orders, track marketing spend and help maintain marketing calendars.
  • Digital Coordination:

    Support campaign trackers, update asset libraries, and assist with basic tasks in email marketing platforms (if applicable).

What You'll Bring:

  • A passion for marketing, events, and communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
