delivering essential payroll processing, systems management and report
creation.
What your day will look like
As our Team Leader Payroll you will:
- Use your knowledge of Awards and Agreements to coordinate Council's
fortnightly payroll and deliver accurate and timely payroll services. - Provide high quality customer service to Council staff, responding to
queries on payroll matters and providing support for staff accessing the
employee kiosk. - Maintain employee records in payroll and data storage systems in line
with best practice and audit requirements. - Prepare reports in-line with Council and legislative requirements.

About You
Our ideal candidate is someone who is:
- Experienced in managing end-to-end payroll operations with strong organisational skills and accuracy.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll processes, Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and industrial relations.
- Skilled in interpreting and applying Fair Work and Local Government employment legislation.
- Proficient in payroll systems and data management for efficient reporting and compliance.
- Clear communicator who builds positive relationships and delivers proactive, high-quality service.
- Capable leader who supports a small team to meet deadlines and achieve shared goals.
