Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

  • Promote and sell automotive and industrial coatings, materials, and related products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations.
  • Technical Support

  • Provide product knowledge and application guidance to customers.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to coatings and application processes.
  • Conduct training sessions and technical workshops as needed.
  • Planning & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM tools.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Customer Service

  • Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries and orders.

  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in automotive.
  • Strong technical understanding of paint products and application methods.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Western Australian driver's license.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive or coatings industry.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of specification-based selling and value-based relationship management.
  • Experience with industrial and automotive paint systems (e.g., AkzoNobel, Axalta, BASF).
  • Familiarity with distributor sales models and inventory management.
