With over 40 years of experience, Auto-IT delivers innovative solutions to help retail dealerships operate and grow their businesses. The company has a strong presence in Australasia and operates globally, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Bangalore, and Wellington. Recently acquired by Perseus Operating Group of Constellation Software, Auto-IT is poised for further growth and expansion.
What you'll be doing?- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Product Promotion: Present and sell new enhancements and initiatives to clients, showcasing the value of Auto-IT's solutions.
- Business Development: Assist with new business opportunities and follow Auto-IT's sales processes to drive growth.
- Product Feedback: Provide valuable insights to Auto-IT on product improvements to better serve new and existing clients.
- Event Participation: Represent Auto-IT at trade shows, user groups, and industry events to expand the company's network.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with the Professional Services team to coordinate installations and implementations within your assigned region.
- Training and Consultancy: Deliver expert consultancy and training on various modules of the Auto-IT DMS.
- Performance Management: Work towards achieving gross targets and product penetration goals while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
- Automotive Experience: At least two years of experience in motor dealerships, preferably in Fixed Operations (Service and/or Parts) or Accounts and Administration.
- DMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Automotive Dealer Management Systems is highly valued but not essential.
- Sales Acumen: Prior sales experience is beneficial, but we welcome candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client relations.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong general IT knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Client-Focused Approach: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work effectively unsupervised and maintain a persistent, enthusiastic approach to business development.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours as required and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
