OnTap Data is a trusted provider of data solutions to the liquor and hospitality industry, delivering clean, accurate data and actionable insights. We are seeking a client-focused Account Manager to join our Melbourne-based team and help drive our mission forward.

Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:


• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through daily communication.


• Reading and interpreting sales data to generate reports and insights.


• Using Board to investigate anomalies in client data and escalate findings to the development team.


• Maintaining accurate records within the CRM.


• Writing quotes alongside within the CRM and identifying upsell opportunities across client accounts.


• Supporting onboarding processes and ensuring smooth transitions for new clients.


• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve client issues and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities


• Gain a thorough understanding of client accounts and their business needs.


• Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure timely updates.


• Work alongside sales manager to fine upsell opportunities and meet/exceed KPIs.


• Escalate data anomalies and collaborate with developers to resolve backend issues.


• Promote OnTap Data's values of transparency, integrity, and quality.

About You


• Experience in account management, ideally within the liquor industry (on- and off-premise).


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate backend data anomalies.


• Familiarity with claims and remittance processes.


• Working knowledge of Board or similar BI/reporting tools.


• CRM expertise (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


• A proactive, resilient, and client-first mindset.
